A little bit about me...

Photography is something I have always enjoyed doing from the time I was little. I started taking portraits for family and friends 3 years ago.
I love to study the current trends in photography as well as discover new techniques in Photoshop. I also love to design custom cards and collages.
I mostly specialize in photographing children, babies, and their families. I love doing maternity portraits as well.
I would describe my photography style as a mix. I absolutely love the look of contemporary portraits, with the candid energy they have, yet there is something special about the traditional portraits that keep me grounded there as well. I'm a natural lighting photographer, and love doing outdoor sessions, though indoor sessions with backdrops are fun too.

Everyday I'm learning more and more about the art of fine photography as I go, and while experimenting I find I truly enjoy each minute of it! I wouldn't call myself a professional photographer, though I would say I'm an avid photo enthusiast working toward someday being a pro!

I like to think that photography runs in my family--I took my first photography class in High School from my dad, and my sister is also a photographer. (She took our family portrait--you can see her work here.)

Right now I am only scheduling one or two sessions each month, so book early!
