California Vacation!

So, last week we got to go to California on a family vacation.  I wish I could say that it was warm and sunny the whole time, but it wasn't.  Just 1 1/2 days of sunny warmth.  The other 3 1/2 days were cloudy, rainy and cool (though cool in CA is warm in UT).  We had a whirlwind of a week, and I thought I’d share some pictures!
We enjoyed an afternoon at the beach!  Too cold to swim, but we had fun in the sand and exploring tide pools!  (I actually took these beach photos with my little point and shoot camera.  I didn’t really want to get sand or water into my DSLR…)

What a fun time enjoying the beauty of California.  (Not so much did we enjoy the traffic though…!)
