The Lavender Lime Shoppe

Today I just wanted to show you how awesome I can make a card, announcement or collage just for you!  Each card, announcement or collage in the Lavender Lime Shoppe can be tweaked here and changed there to make a one of a kind creation just for you--all at a fraction of the price of a big box store or chain!

Let's start off with the newest card in the Shoppe--The Madeline.  Here is a look at the original card.

Now, let's suppose you really love the style of this card, but the colors don't quite match your photo or you're not super crazy about the font.  Well, I can fix that!

And what if we wanted to use it for a baby announcement for a baby boy, change the colors, fonts and direction of the photo?  No problem!

Or maybe you want to switch any part of the card around to better suit your picture...

You can even choose to have it flipped sideways from the original!

Maybe you'd like to have a card that's a bit different in shape or size?  Well, I can do that too! (This is a 4x8, instead of a 5x7 like all the others.)

Maybe you just need something that isn't widely available, well, that can be done too!

Remember, that you can use these cards at any photo store on regular photo paper, print them off at home, or as a blank card through another site.  Just think, custom cards or announcements for a fraction of the price of cards from other stores...plus, you won't be sending out the same card or announcement that everyone is!

Also, don't forget that all the collages are also just as customizable.  If you see something in one size, but really want it in a different size, just ask!

As you can see, the options are endless!  Whether it's a party invitation, a graduation or wedding announcement, a holiday card or a collage, I can customize any Lavender Lime Shoppe creation just for you! 

Holiday Cards--2012

I feel I am a bit slow getting these done this year.  It’s hard to believe that Christmas is only a few weeks away—really! 

Here’s a look at what I’ve designed for the 2012 holiday season.  (And remember that I can change anything on these, like colors, words, direction, etc!)  I made most of them originally in reds and greens just because it’s Christmas, but if you want hot pink and mustard, then I can do it!  I can also adjust these to basically any size you want—4x6, 5x7, 4x8, etc.

Pricing:

If you’ve done a recent session with me and haven’t gotten your pictures yet, or if you have one coming up, you can choose one of these cards in lieu of a collage with a deluxe session.  If you’ve done pictures with me this calendar year and want to use some of those, you can get one for only $5.  If you haven’t done pictures with me and still want one, you can get one for $9.  Prices are for the digital image of your card emailed to you, not for the prints.  (I just don’t have time right now to do prints, but I’d be more than happy to give you some recommendations of some awesome printers!) 

Printing Options:

Because you get a digital file, you can use this card to send in emails, on social sites, blogs and anywhere online you wish!  If you want to send out prints though, you can do that too!

If you are on a tight budget, all you need to do is print these out as a regular picture somewhere—Walmart, Costco, Snapfish, etc.  I recommend using a matte finish as it looks more professional and doesn’t get fingerprints on it as easily.  These end up being about 9 cents per card for a 4x6.  Easy peasy, and cheap! 

You can also use a high quality printing service and get these printed out as real cards, which end up being about $1.25-$2 each.  They are printed on heavier paper and are a real card.

To ensure you get your cards out on time, please get your orders to me ASAP.  You can email me, lavenderlimephoto(at)gmail(dot)com, or call or text me 494-1773.  Let me know which card you want and what wording you want.  Also, let me know of any changes you’d like, such a color matching to your picture!

With 6 different cards…and the choice to customize as you wish, you won’t be sending out the same card as your sister, or neighbor, or the guy down the street!

Christmas Card Preview!

It’s that time of the year…the holidays are just around the corner!  Do you have your cards done yet? 

Here is a look at a few of the cards I’ve created for you this year!  Most cards are available in 4x6 or 5x7. 

These last two are 4x8 inch size only.

All colors can be changed to better match your clothes or whatever you desire!   You can pick your own wording on most of them too. 

If you’ve had a {lavender lime} session this year, you can get your own customized card for just $3!  If you use your own picture, you can get it for just $6!  You will get the file and be able to print your cards as prints through any company or at home.  Also, you will have the digital file to share your card online!  Save on postage!

A’s {Baptism}

Little Miss {A} is going to be getting baptized into the LDS Church in May, and we did a fun little photo shoot of her in her special dress to remember this special occasion! 






And this last one is my personal favorite!

Christmas Card Preview

Great news! I have finished designing the cards for this holiday season, and they are ready for your portraits! There are 8 cards available for you to choose from in either 4x6 or 5x7.
(I should mention that I changed names of the families to protect their privacy, so don't freak out when you see yourself or friends with different names...)

One great thing about all of these cards, is that I can change any of the wording, tweak the colors to better match your clothes if I need to, and I can even change the direction of the card based on the picture(s) you'd like!  How's that for custom!?!

Want to know what else is great about these cards?  You will have the copyright to them and you can print off as many as you'd like at your favorite printing store for only pennies!!!  Yes, ONLY PENNIES!!! Think of how much money you can save on custom holiday cards this year... :)  (And how much precious time you'll save as well!)

Favorite Photo Friday and a Special Offer in time for the holidays!

This week's Favorite Photo Friday is one of my twins trying on my shoes.  They were both fighting over who got to wear them around the house, and I couldn't resist getting a few pictures of them!  This one was my favorite of the bunch.  The first one is the full-color version, and the 2nd is one I used a texture overlay on.  I love using overlays--it adds a fun, vintage touch!

Also, some news...as hard to believe as it is, the holiday season is coming up, and it's time to start thinking about getting some family portraits done!

I will be doing 2 or 3 days of family sessions.  I don't have exact dates yet, but I'm thinking one Saturday in October and one or 2 in November.  I'll be at one location, and you will be able to pick a time to come and get those family portraits done!

You will be able to choose to do a 1/2 hour session for $45 or a 1 hour session for $70.  I will also be designing some cards that you can choose from in either a 4x6 or 5x7.  This is just one sample, and I will have some more up soon.

 Each session will include a CD with your portraits (10-15 guaranteed for mini session, 20-25 for full session), a holiday card of your choice, an 8x10 photo collage as well as the copyright to print your photos and card wherever you choose.  If you are interested, let me know which Saturdays in October or November would work best for you, and I'll try to set dates that work best for most people.

8 is great!

My cute little niece, {L} is turning 8 this month, and is so excited to be getting baptized into the LDS Church! To celebrate this special occasion, we did a fun little photo shoot of her in her dress, (and her new shoes that she's been dying to wear forever!).


Her mom wanted some announcements to send out to invite family and friends to the special occasion. She helped me design this to send out.
For my niece and nephew who were previously baptized, I made 8x10's and framed them so they could have a picture in their room to remind them of this special covenant. This is what I'm going to give to Miss {L}. (The digi scrapbook paper and elements are from the "One Love" bundle, no longer available...sorry.) The text says: I like to look for rainbows, whenever there is rain, and ponder on the beauty of an earth made clean again.
I know when I am baptized, my wrongs are washed away, and I can be forgiven and imporve myself each day.
I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain. I want to be the best
I can, and live with God again!
